Amy Allen
author : Amy AllenI was born and raised in California, and in early 2007 moved to Reno, Nevada.\n\nBesides writing, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and have been since early 1989. I have been working in home care, mostly Pediatric, since 2004 and have been in my current position since moving to Reno. \n\nWhen not working, I love to write and, over the years have completed several fanfictions or original stories, which I didn't think of publishing at the time. However, I now have several published works. In between publishing the original versions in the KW series, I had published two full-length novels and a novella. They are each stand-alone books while still being part of The Many Lives of Brandi series: Surprises, Second Chances, and A Heart Recognized. All three are available in e-book and paperback formats. To provide a history behind any of the books in the Many Lives of Brandi series, I completed Brandi’s Diary – titled: A Life Less Ordinary - The Diary of Brandi Nicole Stewart. Back in June of 2016, I was lucky enough to be invited to write for one of the Kindle World Series, and my novellas make up 'The Girl and the Fireman' series. Due to KW closing earlier this year, I have revised my Girl and the Fireman Series. They are now a companion series to my Many Lives of Brandi series – giving Brandi’s younger brother Joshua his own stories/series. In sequential order, the novellas in The Girl and the Fireman series are: New Beginnings, Holiday Surprises, Masquerade Gone Awry, and Simmering Illusions and they all are now available in both e-book and paperback formats. I also have put the revised novellas into one book and it is The Girl and the Fireman Series. It is also now available in e-book and paperback. \n\nAdded to those individual stories I’ve published, I have contributed to four anthologies over this last year. First was the 25 Days of Christmas anthology, which released December 1st, 2017 – title: For the Love of St. Nick; next was the Me + You Summer Romance Anthology which released June 14 2018 – book title: Love in 8 Seconds; then the Branches of Healing: Tales of Unsung Heroes Anthology which released July 31 2018 – book title: The Aftermath; finishing the year off with the Building Love Anthology to help Ronald McDonald House, Westmead, Australia, which released Dec 1 2018 – book title: Snow Unexpected. I have two more anthologies I am contributing to. First one is Voyages of the Heart – London which is set to release February 14, 2019 – book title: Love Found; Second one won’t be out until autumn 2019 – anthology title and book title yet to be named. For the Love of St. Nick (was part of the 25 Days of Christmas anthology) is now out in e-book and paperback formats.\n\nAs though these weren't enough, I also have a fairy tale with a twist entitled Falling for the Hood, based on Red Riding Hood – no release date at this time. I am also working on a boxed set that is old west stories I have previously written but never published. It is to be titled: John and Brandi the Early Years.\n\nAs for the coming year, I have several works in progress, some with Brandi and others featuring new characters – including at least a couple fantasy ones (I plan on one of those fantasy ones being a many book series), and at least one sci-fi (both with Brandi and new characters).\n\nI enjoy writing, reading, spending time with my two cats (yes, I have a Cat Lady Starter Kit - LOL), and playing an online vampire game. I love visiting Virginia City, NV or Lake Tahoe, and attend a Magnificent Seven/Old West Convention every year which includes a one-day Film Festival, now in Sacramento, California.\n\n View more >>
